Fox’s Gotham named “Most Promising New Show of the Fall” by Television Critics Association

As a new season of television gets ready to launch, the Television Critics Association (TCA) has announced its top picks for the most promising TV shows of the fall schedule. Fox's new comic-book drama Gotham took the top prize of "Most Promising New Show of the Fall."

The TCA, an organization of more than 200 professional journalists who cover TV for media outlets throughout the US and Canada, selected winners beyond just Gotham in the following four categories.

Most Promising New Show of the Fall:
1. Gotham (FOX)
2. Jane the Virgin (The CW)
3. The Affair (Showtime)

Most Promising New Comedy on TV this Fall:
1. Black-ish (ABC)
2. Jane the Virgin (The CW)
3. A to Z (NBC)

Most Promising New Drama on TV this Fall:
1. Gotham (FOX)
2. The Affair (Showtime)
3. How to Get Away with Murder (ABC)

Whom do you see as a Potential new Breakout Star?
1. Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin, The CW)
2. Grant Gustin (The Flash, The CW)
3. Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham, FOX)
