The St. Louis County Police Department said in a tweet just after 10:00 pm EST that shots had been fired in Ferguson, where protesters have taken to the streets after the announcement that Darren Wilson will not be charged for killing Michael Brown.

In another tweet a moment later, the department said the window of one of its cars had been shattered, ostensibly by protestors.
