John Green, author of A Fault in Our Stars, is Taylor Swift's favorite author

Taylor Swift's new album 1989 dropped at midnight last night and it's all the Taylor fanbase can talk about today. One surprising fan, author John Green, professed his love for the new album on Tumblr.  John Green is best known for his best-selling book The Fault in Our Stars. His comment didn't go unnoticed. Swift promptly reposted his comment on her tumblr and called him her favorite author.

John Green is a fitting choice for Taylor Swift. The Fault in Our Stars is a story that parallels many of the themes that Swift herself loves: heartbreak, sadness, hopelessness, and young love.

Swift (or a very adept and secret publicity team) is known for lurking around Tumblr and reposting fan commentary. It seems that Green and Swift made each other's days.
