It's obviously hard to extrapolate about a whole network's coverage from one headline. But judging from US cable news' recent panic about ISISEbola, and sometimes ISIS and Ebola at the same time, it's not clear CNN really deserves the benefit of the doubt. And the CBC's relatively sober, informative approach to an ongoing crisis in its actual capital deserves some plaudits (like much of Canadian society).
