Noam Gidron is an associate professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's political science department and the Joint Program in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). Before joining the Hebrew University faculty, Noam received his PhD from Harvard and was a post-doctoral fellow at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University. His research examines the challenges of contemporary liberal democracies and, more specifically, the rise of populism and polarization in Western polities.
