Like pumpkin spice lattes, the 2015 Emmys have arrived this fall as they do every year, stirring excitement and controversy.
So who are the most anticipated nominees? This new interactive map published by Google's News Lab shows us which actors and shows caught our eye from July 17 to to September 18 of this year, by category:
Note: The funny regions you see on the map are designated media markets. The Emmys ain't the People's Choice Awards, but in the age of on-demand programming, our interest is always worth something, right? Below are a few more interesting top searches shared by the News Lab.
Old dogs won our interest over comedy sketch and live performances:

The thing I find most interesting here, outside of Hollywood's continued struggle with diversity, is how traditional formats are being compared commonly with the brilliantly experimental Key & Peele and Parks And Recreation.
