Nicole Narea is a senior reporter covering politics and society for Vox. She has written about the end of Roe v. Wade and the politics of abortion, the threat of election denier candidates in the 2022 midterms, America’s enduring gun violence problem, the human costs of US border policy, the Latino electorate, and more. She first joined Vox in 2019 as an immigration policy reporter, and has also covered state politics and policy. Her work has also appeared in Politico, Washington Monthly, the New Republic, Law360, and NPR.
Nicole is based in Austin, Texas. She’s a graduate of Yale University and a first-generation American.
