Miranda Kennedy is the executive producer of Today, Explained from Vox. Before taking up this role, she was at NPR for more than 15 years as a reporter, editor, and supervisor. She helped launch NPR's Up First in 2017 and led the coverage of the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections for NPR's Morning Edition. She was based in New Delhi, India, for five years as a reporter and is the author of the book Sideways on a Scooter: Life and Love in India which examines class, caste, and gender.
