You can’t avoid it. Might as well find the best place to watch it.

The royal wedding bonanza has been well under way for weeks. On Saturday, May 19, Britain’s Prince Harry will marry American Meghan Markle in what is sure to be a media feeding frenzy. And for good reason! The marriage of Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William, to Kate Middleton drew 23 million viewers in the U.S. and nearly three billion worldwide.

So unless you turn off your phone and TV, stop surfing the internet and delete your Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat accounts, you’re probably going to see something from St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, where the couple is saying their vows.

Here’s how to watch the royal wedding

Broadcast: You don’t need us to tell you that every major network will be covering the wedding.
The designs were “spearheaded by 30-year NASA veteran, and now Uber’s Director of Aviation Engineering, Mark Moore,” according to Uber’s press release.

For those fearing they may be cut in two when approaching the aircraft, have no fear. Uber says the “design is pedestrian friendly, as the propeller blades are as high as possible, leaving ample room for individuals to board and de-plane without having to duck.”

The flying cars, a.k.a. the electric vertical and takeoff landing vehicles, use a combination of propulsion as well as propellors to push off the ground vertically and land softly back the same way. The idea is this will be a more flexible means to get around by air because it can takeoff and land in more places and can be an easier way to travel longer distances.

Google will be showcasing all the AI, Android and smart home updates.

Google’s annual developer conference is back. Google I/O will be held from Tuesday, May 8, through Thursday, May 10, at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Calif.

There’s really only one way to watch it live: On the Google I/O homepage.

For the past five years, Google I/O has come after Facebook’s own developer conference, F8. But this year feels a little different. Facebook has had to deal with the fallout from the Cambridge Analytica scandal, and all eyes are on any online entity that deals in data. Google has for the most part avoided the wrath of both the public and Congress for Russian interference during the 2016 presidential election.

And while Facebook stuck to a message of “community” during F8, Google is expected to focus more on tech products, including AI, its smart home devices and the future of Android.

This year, it will be interesting to see how Google positions itself as tech companies come under more and more scrutiny for the role they play in democracy and the way in which people digitally connect.

“Please don’t tank my videos.”

Samantha Bee is not known for holding back. And hoo-boy, she let it rip tonight against CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook during a segment on her show “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.”

“You can’t fix Facebook because, in the words of Lady Gaga, ‘Baby, it was born this way,’” she says on the episode, which airs tonight at 10:30 pm ET on TBS.

Facebook has faced a litany of criticism for Cambridge Analytica (which just announced today that it was closing its U.S.- and U.K.-based operations) and its handling of personal data. It got so bad that Mark Zuckerberg had to come before Congress and answer a bunch of semi-on-point questions about how Facebook actually works. (Spoiler: Even Zuckerberg doesn’t really have all the answers.)

“Facebook isn’t evil. Facebook is more like a robot that eats human skin,” says Bee in the segment. “Maybe that robot does amazing things, like cure cancer or make Thin Mints. That’s great. But it’s fueling those amazing things with human skin, and you can’t be surprised when a human-skin-eating robot starts skinning people. That’s what you built it to do. The only way to stop it from building skin traps is to either shut it down or fundamentally change the way it works.”

Identifying the other Facebook employees who are with Zuckerberg in D.C. this week.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is testifying before Congress this week about how the platform was abused during the 2016 presidential election. But he’s not in Washington, D.C., alone.

Who are the Facebook executives and employees Zuckerberg brought as backup as he faces two days of intense grilling from Congress?

In front of Mark Zuckerberg with the striped tie is Brian Rice, Facebook’s director of public policy. Rice joined Facebook from Verizon more than four years ago to serve as the company’s top Democratic lobbyist.

The man in the light blue tie behind Mark Zuckerberg’s left shoulder is Joel Kaplan, Facebook’s VP of public policy. Kaplan has been with Facebook since 2011; he joined after working for former President George W.
The woman to Mark Zuckerberg’s left is his executive assistant, Andrea Besmehn. She’s Zuckerberg’s frequent travel companion and most likely the mastermind behind the infamous “meat cake” birthday photo.
