Deadpool’s Cable guy has arrived.

The third teaser for the still-untitled sequel to the 2016 hit dropped on Wednesday and gave us the first footage of Cable (Josh Brolin), the gun-toting, menacing mutant with a metal arm who will presumably serve as Deadpool’s (probably less comedic) foil. There’s an excellent sequence — complete with armored guards — showing just what kind of fighting carnage Cable is capable of.

In addition to Cable, the trailer also includes a couple of quick cuts featuring Domino and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. And in true Deadpool fashion, there’s an irreverent interlude featuring Deadpool fooling around with a Cable action figure.

This is the third promo for the Deadpool sequel that its studio, 20th Century Fox, has released so far. Last year, in March, the first promo played in theaters before showings of the studio’s Wolverine movie Logan. That first glimpse of the movie was light on details and heavy on butts, murder, and humor — it was just Deadpool clumsily changing in a phone booth, à la Superman, while the person he was planning to help was murdered.

What made Deadpool such a surprise hit when it debuted in 2016 was not just how irreverent and vulgar it was, but also a decade-long struggle to get Fox to make the film in the first place. Fans of the comic book character were more than excited for the film’s release, and it ended up making $783 million worldwide.

The Deadpool sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on June 1, 2018.
