Tim Armstrong spent years running revenue for Google before he led AOL, which he sold to Verizon. He’s since helped the mobile player acquire AOL’s once-rival, Yahoo, which is now called Oath. And while the name might sound odd, it’s one of the few companies that has even a small chance of challenging Facebook and Google.
