Some of the biggest names in tech call on Joelle Emerson to make their companies more inclusive

Emerson is No. 49 on the Recode 100.

Some of the biggest names in tech — like Airbnb, Spotify and Twitter — are asking Joelle Emerson for help.

Emerson’s company, Paradigm, focuses on training that’s supposed to help companies recruit and retain a more diverse workforce. Business is booming: Paradigm trained more than 15,000 people last year, and added 23 new companies to her company’s client list.

Meanwhile, the former women’s rights lawyer published multiple articles in Harvard Business Review detailing the methodology behind her work.
