One of Microsoft’s top experts in phone photography has left the company to rejoin Nokia.
Juha Alakarhu, who developed Nokia’s PureView technology and joined Microsoft as part of its mobile phone purchase, is headed back to the Finnish electronics giant, this time as head of imaging for its Ozo virtual reality camera.
The move comes as Microsoft has axed thousands of people in its phone unit, including most of those it acquired as part of the Nokia deal.
