Vox.com editor in chief Ezra Klein found Donald Trump’s acceptance speech "truly ugly," but white nationalist leader David Duke had a very different take, saying that even he himself could not have better articulated the vision America needs:
Great Trump Speech, America First! Stop Wars! Defeat the Corrupt elites! Protect our Borders!, Fair Trade! Couldn't have said it better!
— David Duke (@DrDavidDuke) July 22, 2016
Duke’s enthusiasm for Trump was a big issue earlier in the campaign season, with many Republican politicians professing to be appalled by Trump’s reluctance to denounce the former Ku Klux Klan leader.
We cannot be a party that nominates someone who refuses to condemn white supremacists and the Ku Klux Klan.

These days, though, the vast majority of the party’s elected officials have decided that they like Trump better than "Crooked Hillary." Duke not only agrees, he thinks Trump is really expressing the right views on the big issues.
