Livestream: Here’s the Congressional gun control sit-in that Paul Ryan doesn’t want you to see

Frustrated by inaction over gun control in the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando, Democrats in the House of Representatives have staged a sit-in on the House floor.

The group wants the House to vote on a bill that would prevent people on the terrorism watch list from purchasing guns. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, R-Wis., has killed C-SPAN camera access to the House chamber, so you can’t check out what’s happening on TV. (C-SPAN has started streaming again, and we’ve added the link below).

Your best bet to see what’s going on is in this Periscope stream from California Democratic Congressman Scott Peters.
