Full video: eBay CEO Devin Wenig at Code 2016

Same-day shipping is not the holy grail.

At the 2016 Code Conference, eBay CEO Devin Wenig spoke with The Verge's Walt Mossberg and Recode's Jason Del Rey about how he's trying to make the online commerce giant less, not more, like Amazon. Here's the full video of the interview.

And via our podcast Recode Replay, here is the full audio of Wenig's appearance:

He said the line between retail and ecommerce is disappearing, noting that eBay has 165 million customers with $90 billion worth of goods sold per year. Wenig also discussed why the site doesn't support Apple Pay and detailed his fascination with artificial intelligence. Plus: Same-day delivery is not the holy grail for every commerce company.
