Take a flyover construction tour of Apple's new $5 billion HQ

A new aerial video shows off a huge fitness facility and also tunnels.

Apple’s new “spaceship” building, which is situated about a mile east of the current headquarters in Cupertino, is expected to be ready for move-in by 2017. The campus will house some 13,000 of Apple’s employees.

In a new flyover video, aerial videographer enthusiast Matthew Roberts took a tour of the campus to get an update on how the construction was progressing.

Here’s what it looks like so far:

First, if you’ll turn your attention to your left you’ll see the progress of the underground auditorium.

Next on our tour are the several tunnel-like structures scattered throughout the campus.

Up ahead of you, you’ll see the company’s new (and huge) research and development facility.

The last stop on our tour is the company’s 100,000-square-foot fitness center.
