Before even doing an official press release, Apple used its digital assistant to announce the dates for this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, which will be held June 13-17 in San Francisco. Ask her about the conference and she will give you enthusiastic responses:
Could the unusual announcement signal news to come about advances in artificial intelligence? Siri, for the moment at least, isn’t saying much. In fact, when you press her for information, she sends you to the Apple website … which has last year’s information on it:
