Watch: the stars of Broad City spy on Chris Hemsworth's dressing room, claim victory for feminism

Constance Grady is a senior correspondent on the Culture team for Vox, where since 2016 she has covered books, publishing, gender, celebrity analysis, and theater.

When Broad City stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, they realized they were appearing on the show on the same night as Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth. So they did what any pair of heterosexual women with no concept of boundaries would do: They drilled a hole in the wall of his dressing room.

"You’re not allowed to do that. That’s against the rules," objected Kimmel.

"Men are constantly drilling peepholes to see women’s penises!" countered Jacobson. "We’re flipping the script!"

"It’s called empowerment, Jimmy," added Glazer.

Hemsworth, meanwhile, was bashing his own hole through the wall of the dressing room, so that he could pop his head through and declare that he wanted no part in the whole thing. But he was willing to hand over some pictures of his brother Liam in the shower, as an olive branch of sorts.

"That works," said Glazer.
