As we said it would, Apple has scheduled an Oct. 27 event to launch the next generation of Mac computers.
“Hello again,” reads the invitation sent Wednesday to journalists. The event will take place at 10 am PT at Apple’s Cupertino, Calif., headquarters, with new Macs expected to take center stage.
Apple released the latest version of its computer operating system, macOS Sierra, last month. However, it has yet to debut updated hardware, and many Mac models have gone years without a significant design change.
