This sad video perfectly sums up how Jeb Bush's campaign has gone

Jeb Bush's presidential campaign certainly hasn't gone how he would have hoped. Days before the Iowa caucuses, he's at the low single digits in national polls, he isn't expected to place anywhere near the top in Iowa, and the tens of millions his operation has spent seems to have had little effect. Now Brendan Karet and John Whitehouse of Media Matters have flagged a recent moment that may be his campaign's nadir:

When asked by Major Garrett of CBS News whether his campaign could be a surprise story on caucus night, Bush responded, "Yes, since the expectations are so low."

"Well, you have succeeded there, governor," said Garrett, laughing.

"Mission accomplished!" Bush mockingly responded. Yikes.
