Game of Thrones' Kit Harington might be done trying to keep Jon Snow’s fate a secret

If the fate of your character were of interest to everyone on the Internet and the President of the United States to the point where your hair length is considered a spoiler, chances are you'd want to tread lightly when discussing it.

But Game of Thrones' Kit Harington just might not care anymore about letting things slip about Jon Snow's fate. On a press tour for Testament of Youth, Harington revealed some telling particulars of his Jon Snow contract:

... I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to 'Game of Thrones.' So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it almost completely consumes me.

...Let’s just say that 'Game of Thrones' will remain a part of my life for a while; I’ll probably be in my 30s when it’s over. One thing’s for sure: the day I’m no longer on 'Thrones' is the day I’ll bury myself in movie projects [laughs].

In Harington's defense, this is still pretty vague. Remaining bound to a contract doesn't necessarily mean that his character is going to rise from the dead. Also, he gave the interview to a Belgian magazine, so maybe he thought this one was going to slip under the radar. Or maybe he was just tired that day. Who knows! It's just about impossible to keep spoilers completely under wraps these days, when a single snapped photo can bring down a multi-million-dollar secret.

In any case, Harington's days of dodging questions and speculation won't be over until Jon Snow's arc is really, officially over. Knowing Game of Thrones, though, that definitive day isn't likely to come any time soon.
