Gamers are worried the trailer misses the point. Maybe we shouldn't listen to them.

The first movie of the summer based on video games, “Pixels,” was hot garbage by near-unanimous consensus (but hey, at least it got better reviews than “Fantastic Four”).

But if at first you don’t succeed … Here’s the latest trailer for “Hitman: Agent 47,” which comes out on August 21.

Fans of the 15-year-old Hitman game series have been wary of the movie’s marketing thus far.

Hollywood has a terrible track record of adapting games to movies; the Hitman series previously got a mediocre adaptation in 2007. Maybe a little change of perspective will be just what the doctor ordered.
