Google VP Neal Mohan Is Staying at Current Job, Not Departing for Dropbox

Last Monday, we reported that Google VP Neal Mohan was in talks with file storage company Dropbox about taking the vacant head of product role. Those conversations have ended. Mohan, an eight-year Google vet, is staying on in his current role running display and video advertising. Four years ago, Twitter offered Mohan an executive spot, which he also declined, after a lucrative stock package from Google. Additional compensation was not involved this time, a source close to Google said. Google declined to comment and Dropbox did not respond to a request.
