Hillary Clinton is using a Periscope feed to broadcast the first big rally of her presidential campaign.

The now-official Presidential candidate is hosting an event in New York but broadcasting it live over Twitter’s live video service, with Olympic figure skater (and Clinton supporter) Michelle Kwan hosting the feed. Clinton’s campaign is pitching the New York rally as the “official” start of her presidential campaign, but of course that effort has been in full force for a while now.
Clinton has made social media a cornerstone of her bid.
She used Twitter and YouTube as part of her official announcement and had some fun joining Instagram this week, posting a shot of her choosing among red, white and blue pantsuits. That was followed by some cute kid pics, because who doesn’t like kid pics?
