Stabilo, best known as the company that makes the Boss highlighter, featured a very unusual pair of models in a Hong Kong advertisement, shared by Gerry Doyle of the International New York Times on Monday:
I'm pretty sure neither @billclinton nor @MonicaLewinsky signed up for this stabilo pen ad in hong kong: pic.twitter.com/15xfhW8tCM— Gerry Doyle (@mgerrydoyle) June 1, 2015
The ad is a graphic rendering of this photograph taken in 1995 showing Monica Lewinsky, who was then a White House intern, meeting President Clinton. The photo was submitted as evidence during the Starr investigation and released on September 21, 1998:
The advertisement's slogan? "Once marked, forever remembered."
