BlackBerry-Typo Settlement Allows iPad Keyboards but Not iPhone Cases

BlackBerry said Monday it has reached a settlement in its long-running legal disputes with Ryan Seacrest-backed Typo Products. According to a statement form BlackBerry, the agreement allows the startup to sell keyboard cases for the iPad but not for any mobile devices with screens smaller than 7.9 inches. Typo had been looking to sell keyboard add-ons for both types of Apple products, but BlackBerry had injunctions stopping sales of the iPhone product and had sued over a redesigned successor.
