Flickr head Bernardo Hernandez has left Yahoo, just as the company is rolling out Flickr 4.0, the latest redesign of the photo-sharing and storage service today across the Web, mobile and desktop. The exec had worked closely with CEO Marissa Mayer at Google, and she brought him in to reinvigorate Flickr after it lost much ground to Facebook’s Instagram. Sources said Hernandez officially left the company last week for personal reasons and does not have another job lined up.
