Baltimore City State Attorney Marilyn Mosby on Thursday, May 21, announced a grand jury had indicted all six police officers involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who died of a spinal cord injury while under police custody.
Here's the full list of the criminal charges, taken from a release handed out by Mosby's office:
Officer Caesar Goodson Jr.
- Second-degree depraved-heart murder, 30 years
- Involuntary manslaughter, 10 years
- Second-degree assault, 10 years
- Manslaughter by vehicle (gross negligence), 10 years
- Manslaughter by vehicle (criminal negligence), 3 years
- Misconduct in office
- Reckless endangerment, 5 years
Officer William Porter
