Bigcommerce announced today that it has acquired Zing, an Austin-based startup that makes checkout software and inventory management tools for brick-and-mortar businesses. Re/code first reported the deal was imminent on Sunday. Zing’s team and technology is expected to help Bigcommerce roll out new features to help merchants integrate their online shops powered by Bigcommerce with their brick-and-mortar stores.
