VMware and Good Technology said Wednesday they have settled a lawsuit in which Good accused VMware’s AirWatch unit of patent infringement.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though Good Technology said on its website that it had “favorably resolved” the dispute. The companies did say they had cross-licensed one another’s patents and will “discuss opportunities for joint interoperability.”
Good Technology, which has filed to go public, also has pending litigation against MobileIron, with that suit scheduled to go to trial this summer.
Airwatch, Good Technology and MobileIron are all in the business of helping companies manage their mobile devices.
