On Monday, eBay appointed Tony Bates, president of camera company GoPro, and Gail McGovern, CEO of the American Red Cross, to its board of directors. The duo will eventually replace long-time board directors William C. Ford and Richard T. Schlosberg, who won’t stand re-election at the company’s May 1 annual meeting. The appointments come ahead of eBay’s planned split with its payments division PayPal later this year.
