Bezar, Fab Co-Founder's Reincarnation of Fab, Goes Live Today

Jason Del Rey has been a business journalist for 15 years and has covered Amazon, Walmart, and the e-commerce industry for the last decade. He was a senior correspondent at Vox.

Bezar, an online shopping site that will feature daily pop-up shops from up-and-coming designers, launches today. Bezar is founded by Bradford Shellhammer, the co-founder of one-time designer and investor favorite Fab.com, who told me earlier this year about the lessons he and Bezar have learned from the missteps of Fab. Bezar has raised $2.25 million, but Shellhammer says he has made it clear to investors that he is intent on building a business that is self-sustaining from its early days rather than one that’s constantly chasing record growth.
