AOL has done what Re/code said last week it would do: On Friday it made AOL Platforms head Bob Lord president of the company, overseeing its newly unified global advertising operations. As a result, Lord’s annual base salary will increase from $750,000 to $800,000 and his bonus target from 100 percent to 125 percent of base salary. The move is part of a broader restructuring of AOL’s sales and content units.
