The one time Harry Potter’s Sorting Hat was wrong

Look. Draco Malfoy is a Slytherin. He just is.

You know that. I know that. Everybody does. He's a Slytherin.

THEN HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS?

That's right. Earlier this week, Tom Felton, the actor who plays Draco, Harry's greatest nemesis, in the film series, joined Pottermore, the Harry Potter fan site created by author J.K. Rowling.

When you join the site, you'll be able to try on the magical sorting hat — well, at least a virtual version of it. The hat, then, through magical algorithms, will sort you into one of four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. As everyone knows, the bad eggs go to Slytherin.

Or perhaps in Slytherin,
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends.

Malfoy is one of the most notorious members of the Slytherin house that exists. Even leaving aside that actors aren't the characters they play, this still seems incredibly inexplicable.

Oh bollocks! x
