The Oscars' horrible lack of diversity, explained in 2 minutes

The Oscar nominations, released this week, were completely dominated by white men. There were no female directors or screenwriters nominated this year, and there were no people of color nominated in acting roles. This really shouldn't come as surprise when you look at the demographic make up the members of the Academy that voted. Around 94% of the voters are white and 77% are male.
