Media insiders took to the stage Thursday at our Code/Media Series: New York event at the Steelcase WorkLife Center in Manhattan to talk about what’s next in journalism, entertainment and sports programming.

Time Inc. CEO Joe Ripp talked about his plans to reinvigorate venerable titles like People and Sports Illustrated, even as advertising continues to fall. Newcomer Meridith Valiando Rojas explained how she finds social media stars for the concert stage (hint, none of them come from Yahoo).
