Amazon's Media Boss Is Leaving

Jason Del Rey has been a business journalist for 15 years and has covered Amazon, Walmart, and the e-commerce industry for the last decade. He was a senior correspondent at Vox.

Bill Carr, Amazon’s vice president for its digital video and music efforts, is leaving the company at year’s end, a spokeswoman confirmed to Re/code. It’s not clear what Carr, a 15-year veteran of Amazon, is doing next. The move was first reported by the Wall Street Journal.
