Facebook's Oculus Acquisition Closes

Facebook’s acquisition of Oculus VR, first announced in March, has officially closed. The two companies released a joint statement saying they were looking forward to “building the next computing platform and reimagining the way people communicate.” The deal included $400 million in cash, a $300 million earn-out and 23.1 million common shares of Facebook.
