Facebook Buys LiveRail. Is a Video Ad Network Next?

Facebook already launched a mobile ad network. Now it looks like a video ad network could be on the horizon. Today, the social network announced plans to acquire ad tech company LiveRail, which helps online publishers decide which video ads to show to which viewers. Facebook could eventually use LiveRail to sell video ads across the web targeted to viewers using Facebook’s trove of detailed demographics data.
