In a wide-ranging discussion, Dropbox co-founder and CEO Drew Houston discussed his concerns about the NSA’s surveillance program, which prompted the company to update its privacy policy earlier this year. He addressed questions about Silicon Valley’s “bro culture,” which was brought into sharp relief earlier in the day with the leak of Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel’s frat-boy email messages. And he defended his online storage service, which costs more than rivals but which, he argues, offers users an experience that they’re passionate about.
