Someone in Palo Alto Would Like Their Missing Drone Back, Please

Lost: Pet quadcopter; reward offered.

Flyers for missing dogs and cats are plastered on telephone poles across the country.

But in Palo Alto, Calif., behold: The misplaced drone flyer.

One person, identified only by the email address, is seeking to locate a lost quadcopter, pictured above.

When contacted by Re/code, the person who responded did not reply to questions about his or her identity, but said there were no promising leads yet.

By the way, the Palo Alto Police Department sought to clarify that this was not, in fact, its drone, in case that was implied by the wording of the ad.
