We still haven't made up the losses since the recession

From Bill McBride a sobering reminder of just how big and deep this labor market slump has been:

Calculated_risk We're almost — but not quite — back to the employment level we had before the crash. In the interim, the population has grown quite a bit so the labor market is still a lot weaker than it was in the winter of 2007-2008.
