Soon, you’ll be able to flaunt your artsy filtered-to-hell snaps in the real world as well as online.
Adidas said Friday that it would release a mobile app this summer that lets owners of its ZX Flux shoes print out new shoe patterns based on their Instagram pictures. The “miadidas” app is slated for August 2014 release on iPhone and Android.
It’s not yet clear if miadidas will cost anything more than the vanilla ZX Flux shoes, which currently run for $85 or $90. Adidas competitor Nike already lets customers buy individually customized shoes via its Nike iD program for an additional fee, which can vary depending on how many changes they make.
