eBay Settles Federal No-Poaching Lawsuit

The U.S. Justice Department announced Thursday that it had reached a settlement with eBay that will prohibit the e-commerce company from conspiring with other businesses to prevent the hiring of each other’s employees. The suit, filed in 2012, claimed that eBay and Intuit engaged in anticompetitive practices by agreeing not to poach each other’s workers.
