Andreessen, Madrona and Maveron Invest $30 Million in Cosmetics Startup Julep

Julep, a Seattle-based startup that manufactures nail polish and sells it through e-commerce subscriptions and four of its own nail salons, has raised an additional $30 million in venture capital. New investors Azure Capital, Altimeter Capital and Madrona Venture Group joined Andreessen Horowitz and Maveron in the round, which brings Julep’s total funding to $56 million.
