Caterina Fake's Findery Puts People's Stories on a Map

I’ve written a few times about Findery, the app for posting and finding little vignettes tagged to a location. From Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake, this has been in the works for a long time, with a website first and then a limited-location iOS app. As of today, the iOS app is widely available. And it’s pretty neat to soar around the world virtually and find the wealth of stories that have collected in the meantime — from users like an early Hare Krishna member in the East Village, or a pyrotechnics designer in Alabama — as Fake and I stumbled on when she demoed the app earlier this week.
