Over the weekend, a spate of PlayStation 4 owners took to social media to report an opaquely named error, E-82204301, that broke the console’s Party Chat features. A Sony spokesperson confirmed that the error is a known issue and that the company is “looking into it,” but did not provide an ETA for a fix. With the PS4, Sony began charging a subscription fee for online multiplayer, but Party is not one of the features that requires a paid PlayStation Plus account.
