Viral Video: Obama Plugs on Funny or Die -- And It Works

Sometimes, viral marketing actually works.

What’s the perfect PR spin campaign for a botched website rollout? A viral video, obviously.

President Barack Obama showed up in a Funny or Die video interview with Zach Galifianakis on Tuesday, where the two traded jabs and talked a bit about the failed introduction of last fall.

It’s funny, especially because it’s self-aware and self-deprecating, but it also has the President advocating for the new and improved version of the health care site.

It paid off — sent a boatload of traffic that way after the video debuted this morning.
