Roizen Promoted to Operating Partner at DFJ

After closing its recent $325 million fund aimed at early-stage investments, VC firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson said that longtime venture capitalist Heidi Roizen would become a new operating partner. A promotion from her current role there has venture partner, she will oversee talent, marketing, business development and investment support at DFJ, among other things. Roizen has a long history in the tech space, first as co-founder and CEO of T/Maker, followed by a stint as VP of developer relations for Apple and later as managing director at Mobius Venture Capital.
